Chris Chen is a 1st year medical student at Washington University in St Louis, where he is a distinguished student scholar. Chris graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology, economics, and health policy. He has worked for the U.S. Senate Majority Health Policy Office under Senator Edward M. Kennedy and as a health policy researcher at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He previously was the Vice Chair of the American Red Cross National Youth Council where he spearheaded national programming for the Red Cross's 169,000 youth volunteers and has also directed a prison education program and hospital advocacy program in Boston.
