CBO: 22 million lose health care under Senate Bill
The Senate version of a bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act is out and the report from the Congressional Budget Office is in. Under the Senate proposal, the CBO confirms 22 million patients would lose their health coverage. Doctors and medical students know that health care repeal will mean cutting coverage for millions, making devastating cuts to Medicaid, increasing consumer costs and eliminating vital protections. This is fundamentally unacceptable.
